Below you will find information for full-, middle-, and low-cost shares. Middle- and low-cost shares are two options we offer to shareholders in our subsidized program. To learn more about the program, click here. Scroll to the bottom of the page for payment options.
We do accept credit card payments via the marketplace! Ordering happens through the marketplace, and if a shareholder is unable to pay via credit or debit, then we can accommodate cash and check if you reach out to finance@brownmarketshares.com.
Additionally, if you are a shareholder in our Subsidized Program, you can choose to pay in installments via a payment plan. If you would like to set up a payment plan, please email our finance coordinator at finance@brownmarketshares.com after your application is accepted. We offer weekly and monthly payment plans. If you elect to have a payment plan, you must pay the FULL AMOUNT even if you miss a week. In addition to mailing payments, shareholders with payment plans may also pay in person on the Market Days when their installments are due.
FULL-COST (Fall 2024):
Please note that the price of a meat share has increased from $35/week to $40/week due to changes from our supplier. We are offering the meat share at the wholesale price to minimize the potential burden on our shareholders, but apologize for the increase nevertheless.
Please also note that the price of milk has decreased from $5 to $4.50 a week!
Subsidized Share Options
*Please note: Full, Mid, and Low refer to pricing levels, not amount of produce. All produce shares are the same in quantity, except for the half-produce share.
